Do I need to be present for the work sessions?

During our assessment visit, we get to know you, your preferences, and specific needs. We welcome clients to participate during the initial phase of decluttering to get a sense of what to keep, donate, resell, or trash. From that point, we work independently and check in only if necessary so you can get back to your daily life! 

Do I need to purchase organizational supplies?

Clients are responsible for paying for all agreed-upon products necessary for the completion of the project at the time of service. 

Do I need to clean up before the initial assessment? 

We prefer you don’t clean beforehand. That way we can see your space in its typical form and how you are currently functioning in it. Remember, there is nothing to be embarrassed about! We have seen it all and our goal is to find solutions that work for you in a non-judgmental way.

Are there additional expenses I should know about upfront?

There are direct expenses for service that are the client’s responsibility - including but not limited to supplies and product shipping fees, parking or other transportation charges, and trash disposal costs. If applicable, these fees will be billed at the time of service.

Does The Graceful Home Co. install custom closets/shelving/built-ins?

We will suggest items after the work assessment if necessary but will leave the assembly and installation of those items to the client or handyman. We are happy provide a list of referrals and work alongside these professionals. Our liability insurance does not allow for The Graceful Home Co. to complete this type of work.

What payment methods does The Graceful Home Co. accept and what are the terms of service?

We accept payment by cash, check Venmo, Zelle or credit card. Checks should be made payable to the Graceful Home Co. 

A fee of two hours service will be collected to secure your dates on our schedule.

There will be a charge of $40 for any check returned for insufficient funds. The client is also responsible for any legal fees necessary to acquire fees owed from unpaid account balances
